AutoSwitch Mod for Minecraft 1.5.2/1.5.1/1.4.7

/media/img/AutoSwitch-Mod-for-Minecraft-1-5-2-1-5-1-1-4-7-1.jpg
AutoSwitch is a highly-configurable, advanced mod that automatically switches to the correct tool when mining a block and automatically uses the correct weapon when attacking a mob or a player. It will also switch back to your previous item when you are done mining or attacking a mob, useful for building and going on mining trips.
AutoSwitch will look at every tool in  your hotbar and pick the best one to use, using a complex algorithm that doesn’t just use the fastest tool, it also takes into account other factors such as enchantments like Silk Touch or Fortune, and if the item is damageable or not.
AutoSwitch is off by default, so hit F10 to toggle it on and off. If F10 doesn’t work for you (like on many laptops or on many Mac OS X computers), then you can change the key bindings and all the other options with Esc -> Options -> Thebombzen’s Options -> AutoSwitch Options. Also, changing the keys in Options -> Controls will not work, because the keys aren’t there. See below for details.
AutoSwitch does not modify class files, only adds them, and therefore AutoSwitch should not conflict with any mods, including mods that were made with Minecraft Forge. In fact, AutoSwitch 2 was specifically designed to be compatible with Minecraft Forge, and understands forge extensions such as the charge on a red matter pickaxe for EE2, among others.
AutoSwitch vs AutoSwitchLight
AutoSwitchLight is a lightweight version of AutoSwitch. It still switches to your tools and weapons, but AutoSwitchLight does not:
  • 1. Look at enchantments, other than calculating damage and mining speed.
  • 2. Have a config window
  • 3. Use the number-of-hits weapon algorithm
  • 4. Require Minecraft Forge
Installation:
  • 1. Install ModLoader or Minecraft Forge
  • 2. Install ThebombzenAPI
  • 3. Put ALL the class files inside minecraft.jar
  • 4. Delete META-INF.
  • 5. DO NOT put AutoSwitchMod zip file inside your mods folder, or AutoSwitch won’t switch back.
  • 6. Go to Shift+B -> AutoSwitch Options
Changelogs:
v3.0.4
  • Updated to 1.5.2
Requirements:

/media/img/Craftable-Spawners-Mod-for-Minecraft-1-5-2-1-5-1-1-4-7-1.jpg
There is now a full release for 1.4.5 wich includes all the new mobs and creative menu support!
Recipes:
M R M
X R
M R M
(M being moss stone, R iron ingot)
The middle “X” determines spawner type.
Animals & passive
  • Raw Porkchop – pig
  • Raw Beef – cow
  • Raw Chicken – chicken
  • Wool – sheep
  • Mushroom – mooshroom cow
  • Bone – wolf
  • Ink Sack – squid
  • Slimeball – slime
  • Milk bucket – ocelot (its a cat, right?)
  • Wooden hoe – villager (only one type)
  • Snowball – snowman
  • Iron cube – iron golem
  • Stone – Bat
Monsters
  • Arrow – Skeleton
  • Spider Eye – Spider
  • String – Cave spider
  • Rotten Flesh – Zombie
  • Gunpowder – Creeper
  • Diamond – Ender Dragon (works only in Ender, or doesn’t work at all)
  • Ender Pearl – Enderman
  • Raw Fish – Silver Fish
  • Glass Bottle – Witch
Nether mobs
  • Gold Nugget – Zombie Pigman
  • Blaze Rod – Blaze
  • Ghast Tear – Ghast
  • Magma Cream – Magma Cube
  • Soul sand – Wither(the wither skull dosen’t work properly)
Alternate recipe:
  • Monster Spawner block (pig spawner) + mob’s specific item
  • For example, take the monster spawner, and craft it with string, and you get the spider spawner.
  • The block can be obtained using inv editing, or my Minable Spawners mod.
Spawn conditions
  • Monsters need darkness (including BLAZE)
  • Animals need grass.
  • Spawned sheep will have random fur, and this cannot be changed.
  • Villagers will have the default brown clothes
  • Squids need water.
  • Slimes need depth and their special chunks.
  • Ender Dragon probably needs to be in The End
Good to know
  • Spawner block was not changed, all other spawner mods will still work.
  • Maps built with this mod don’t require it.
  • Built spawners are legit, no new contents was added.
  • What you craft is Spawner Builder item, which can build the real spawners.

This mod makes a number of changes to the behavior of fences, walls, and panes. Each option listed is completely optional and can be configured to your liking:
  • Fences, panes, and walls now interact and “blend” together
  • Walls have been made seamlessly stack-able
  • Over thirteen new wall-types added (including wooden wall variants)
  • Fences and walls no longer connect to blocks unless lined up in groups of two or more (see screenshots)
  • Plus a number of small options that can be found in the mod’s config

Mob Spawn Controls Mod for Minecraft

/media/img/Mob-Spawn-Controls-Mod-for-Minecraft-1-5-2-1-5-1-1-4-7-1.jpg
This allows you to control where mobs can spawn. By using F6, you can open the Control GUI and select what mobs you want to spawn by-biome, or globally!
It IS compatible with Mo Creatures, ExtraBiomesXL and any other mod that adds entities or biomes!
Not only can you control spawnrates of the individual mobs, but you can also increase the Spawn Caps and passive mob spawn frequency (see configuration below)
Configuration:
  • The save file is currently found in the each world save directory and is named “SpawnConfiguration.txt”
  • The first four lines (SpawnCap.monster…) refer to the spawning caps placed on each creature type – increase them! I personally put the creatures (animals) spawn cap to over 50. The max is 500.
  • Creatures.SpawnFrequency is the number of ticks between attempts to spawn animals. Lower this (minimum is 1) to increase the frequency of animal spawns. NOTE:  You also want to increase the Spawn Cap for creatures – by default, it is very low (15) and I recommend at least 50, possibly 100
  • AutoSave means that the mod will save (to the file) every time that you make a change in game
  • CanEdit means that you have permission to open the GUI in game. Setting this to false will make it so that you can’t open the GUI – it is useful for servers
  • Entities.txt can be found in your Minecraft directory and lists all of the Spawnable Entities
  • MSC_Overrides.txt can be found in your Minecraft directory and can be used to override the default settings

/media/img/Dragon-Mounts-Mod-for-Minecraft-1-5-2-1-5-1-1-4-7-1.jpg
This is a mod that allows you to hatch previously useless dragon eggs. Once fostered and tamed, they’ll be your faithful companion in all situations and, of course, can be used for a ride!

/media/img/Dragon-Mounts-Mod-for-Minecraft-1-5-2-1-5-1-1-4-7-7.png
Usage:
  • To hatch a dragon egg, you’ll need to find a warm place for it first. If you found one, simply right click it. The egg will then start to hatch, which will take a while.
  • Once grown up, you can tame the dragon with raw fish. It will then follow and protect you like other pets.
  • You can command tamed dragons to lay down or stand up with the bone item.
  • To ride a tamed dragon, use a saddle on it, then right click it without holding an action item.
  • To heal injured dragons, feed it with raw fish, chicken, beef or porkchop (four hearts) or with rotten flesh (two hearts).
Installation:
  • Move the Zip file in the “mods” directory inside your .minecraft directory.
  • Depending on the version, ModLoader or Forge is required for this mod! You’ll need to install it first.
  • Don’t forget to remove the old installation when updating!
Changelogs:
v0.99.2
  • Fixed leaking worlds and player entities when switching to a different world, which caused some entity anomalies and performance issues.

/media/img/Forestry-Mod-for-Minecraft-1-5-2-1-5-1-1-4-7-2.jpg
Recipes:
Requirements:
Optional, but strongly recommended:
  • BuildCraft
Installation:
  • Step 0: Check that your minecraft is at the required version. Down- or upgrade as necessary. If you already have a compatible BuildCraft or IndustrialCraft2 installed, you can skip directly to Step 4.
  • Step 1: Find your minecraft.jar. On windows it will be located in /.minecraft/bin. Backup your current minecraft.jar.
  • Step 2: Delete the folder META-INF in your minecraft.jar. Not deleting it will cause the game to fail to start up, even if you installed everything else correctly.
  • Step 3: Open your minecraft.jar with WinRAR or 7zip. Drag and drop the contents of the zip file for Minecraft Forge into the .jar. You have to install the mods in this exact order!
  • Step 4: Add forestry-A-*.jar to your mod folder in /.minecraft/mods. This is also where the files for BuildCraft and IndustrialCraft2 should be located.
  • Step 5 (optional): Test your installation by launching the minecraft client. Press the button “Login” in the launcher and wait for the main menu to appear. Now check the file ForgeModLoader-client-0.log in /.minecraft/. You should find a line that says “[FINE] [ForgeModLoader] Activating mod Forestry” or something similar. If the file does not mention Forestry, something is amiss.
